Efficient tools to build your streaming infrastructure

Larix Screencaster

Larix Screencaster is a mobile app designed to capture the mobile device screen and stream it live using professional protocols like SRT, RTMP, RTSP, RIST and WebRTC. While it’s widely used on specialized hardware like DJI RC Plus, it’s just as powerful and flexible on everyday Android and Apple smartphones and tablets.

  • Mobile Game Streaming
Stream gameplay directly from your phone with minimal overhead, perfect for gamers who want to broadcast live without a capture card or external software.
  • App Demonstrations and Training
Share your screen during live sessions for product demos, training, or walkthroughs — ideal for education, onboarding, or support teams.
  • Live Commentary and Reporting
Journalists and content creators can stream real-time screen activity, including app usage, maps, or browser content, optionally adding a front camera overlay.
  • Remote Collaboration and Troubleshooting
Tech support or field teams can stream their screen in real time to a remote team to illustrate problems or solutions.
  • Drone Mission Sharing (DJI etc.)
When using third-party drone control apps, Larix Screencaster allows live broadcasting of your control screen, including camera view, telemetry, and map interface.

Screencasting from iOS via Larix Screencaster

Apple requires additional screencasting setup besides the streaming part.
If you stream your screen, you can only use your microphone. If currently opened application supports ReplayKit, then you’ll be able to stream its sound. This is the limitation of iOS.
Install and set up Larix Screencaster streaming and then use these descriptions to perform the setup:
