Larix Broadcaster for Android and iOS now supports NDI tally light signals, helping improve live production workflows.
Once you set up and start NDI streaming from Larix Broadcaster, it becomes available as an NDI source. Then, as soon as Larix receives an NDI tally signal from any compatible NDI device or software, the app automatically detects it and displays a visual indicator. A green bar appears when the source is On Preview, and a red bar shows when it is On Program (i.e. on air). This allows camera operators using mobile devices to instantly see their current status in multi-camera setups.
No additional configuration is required. The feature works seamlessly with any NDI receiver that provides tally output, including popular systems like vMix, OBS, TriCaster, and other NDI-enabled production tools.
This enhancement simplifies coordination for mobile video teams and streamlines professional NDI workflows.
Notice that NDI feature set requires Larix Premium subscription or NDI license in Larix Tuner.
